4.0 Magnitude Earthquake in Darchula District, No Injuries Reported

Kathmandu: A seismic event of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale struck the Darchula district this morning.
The earthquake, which took place at 4:55 am, had its epicenter located at Khandeshowri within the district, as reported by the National Seismological Centre situated in Lainchour.
In a similar occurrence on June 12, the Bajura district also experienced an earthquake registering a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale.
